Our Team
Stuart O’Donnell
Director
Stuart looks after refurbishments, extensions, roofs and new builds for private clients. He also runs the maintenance side of the business that we look after for our letting agencies.
Stuart is a keen sports fan and a family man. At weekends Stuart likes to get out on his bike in preparation for his next charity cycle – in 2019 he rode to Paris from Bristol with some other members of the BCM team to raise money for St Peters Hospice.
Steve Silcocks
Director
Steve looks after the commercial side of the business as well as the larger developments. He has been in the business for more than 30 years and so has a wealth of experience
Steve loves to travel so spends a lot of his spare time going to new and exotic places. When he is in Bristol he likes nothing more than supporting his home team, Bristol City, or taking his dog out for a walk.
Nick Matthews
Painter, decorator & tiler and general handyman
Nick has been with us since the company started. His attention to detail is second to none and is master of a colour pallet. Nick has gained qualification in PASMA tower use and cherry picker operation.
In his spare time Nick enjoys baking bread, walking and he has major interest in birds of Britain.
Jonathon Ingram (Baggie)
SMSTS (Site Management training), Domestic installer (electrics), FENSA qualified, PASMA tower use, cherry picker operation and trained first aider.
Having been with the company for 7 years, Baggie is a multi-skilled operative who loves a kitchen and bathroom installation where he is ideally suited. He is also competent in all aspects of roofing whether this be pitched or traditional flat roofing systems.
When not up on a roof, he can be found either baking bread or meandering down the river on his hand built boat.
Tom
Carpenter & qualified in PASMA tower use
Tom is qualified carpenter, who has been with the company for 6 years. He is a competent roofer and loves a good refurbishment project.
Outside of work you can find Tom travelling in his custom-built campervan or tearing through the lanes in his much loved land rover.
Our regular contractors
Martyn
Martyn has been with the company for 2 years and is our resident brick layer. He also carries out general builders work.
Outside of work Martyn loves fishing and is a family man.
Nigel
Nigel is our number 1 labourer, without him work for the lads would be harder and he is always ready to make a cup of coffee for when visitors turn up on site. He is a keen fisherman although we still don't know whether who catches more him or Martyn .
Sean
Sean is a carpenter who also fulfils the role of site foreman on smaller projects and has worked for BCM since 2018. Sean has worked with Steve on numerous projects for over 20 years and is happy with tools in his hands or co-ordinating other trades on site. We just cant seem to loose him (not that we’d want to)
Mitch
Mitch is a Carpenter / Joiner who is reliable and with an eye for detail and quality. Has been working with BCM since 2012 and spent over 2 years with us working on the refurbishment of the Bristol Children’s hospital. Tanned and always smiling.
Jason
Jason is one of our painting and decorating team and has been with us on an off for 6 years, if not longer. He loves to travel and especially has a love of Australia but he is like a boomerang and keeps coming back to BCMServ.
